Snow Day!

We had snow today for the first time this winter. It didn't end up amounting to too much (at most a couple of inches), but it covered the ground and was very beautiful. Joey was able to see snow for the second time in his life, although the first time didn't even cover the ground, and he was too young to remember it. So, we got all bundled up and went outside to play.

The view from our balcony.

All bundled up and ready to go.

Walking in the snow can be kind of hard.
Not quite sure about the snow.
I've decided! I don't like snow. PICK ME UP!

A dog!! I've changed my mind. Now I can play.

Play with me doggie!

Working Man

Joey LOVES to play on our computer. We don't love it quite as much, since he has an uncanny ability to hit some key that makes the computer do something crazy you've never seen it do before. But, every time he goes in our bedroom, he wants to play on it.
Just typing away

These keys are really hard to see!

All done!

Christmas part 2

We were able to spend New Years in Pennsylvania. Joey, as always, loved being the center of attention and we all had lots of fun with the second round of Christmas presents.
Joey showing how well he can drink from a glass. For some reason, he prefers glass (not plastic) glasses.
Joey and Uncle Craig examining his new jack-in-the-box.
Apparently, jack-in-the-boxes are VERY scary.
Joey's favorite part of opening presents turned out to be playing with the bows.
Oh good! Another bow to play with.
All those toys, and Joey wants to play with Grandpa's camera.
Joey's favorite present . . . a puzzle of his name! By the way, letters are great to chew on when you're teething.
Practicing with his (and Uncle Craig's) silverware.
How do I work this knife thing?

Christmas part 1

We spent Christmas in Mt. Olive this year, and Joey loved being the center of attention. He got to see his Uncle Kit for the first time in a year, as well as Aunt Amanda and Uncle Josh a few days after Christmas. He was excited Christmas morning to see all the presents, although at first, he was more excited to see the piano.

Christmas morning!
Joey liked the crayons left by Santa.
Joey in his new ball pit.
Vroom, Vroom!
Playing with Great Granddaddy.
Oh no! G-Daddy's going to get me!
Save me, Meana!
Even Meana can't protect you from G-Daddy!
Getting some sugar from Great Meana.
Cuddle time over. Gotta get back to playing!
